We thank you for this opportunity to share with you our ministry at Meadowbrook Christian Church located in Rochester Hills, MI, and are eager to have you join us.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:2)
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)
My wife Lynda and I were born and raised in Pennsylvania (we are high school sweethearts). We married in 2005 and have four amazing, strong, and unique daughters who are growing entirely too fast. Lynda and I share a passion for the equipping and the encouraging of Christian marriages, and we strive to reflect that in our own relationship.
In 2014 we brought our circus to the Sunshine State of Florida where we put down roots and began to grow. During this time period I served as the Youth & Family Minister in a local congregation.
We are so excited that the journey God is writing for us has brought our family to Meadowbrook. We look forward to doing life with you. Celebrating the victories and consoling in the low moments. We believe that the harvest in Rochester Hills and the surrounding communities is plentiful, and we want to see you equipped to go out and reap.
All of us have been given a light to shine in a world that sometimes feels increasingly dark. Meadowbrook Christian Church will be a community that collectively glows like a lighthouse in the harbor, piercing through the fog and leading all who will follow to the safety and refuge of calm waters.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:14-17)
The Bible is so clear on our call to live out a lifestyle of worship for the Lord that extends beyond the doors of our church and to our families, communities, and the world. This is our mission: to love others as Christ loves them, to worship God boldly in all we do, and make disciples everywhere we go.
My wife, Sophie and I are from opposite sides of the country. She grew up in Connecticut, and I grew up in rural Oregon. We met in Washington state and have been married since March 2012. We have one daughter, Grace, and enjoy spending time together as a family. We love fishing, camping, hiking paths, board games, volunteering at youth camps, and much more!
I have a background leading youth and worship ministries, directing and volunteering at youth camps and adult retreats, and serving with homeless and recovery ministries.
I believe God uses broken people to reach broken people. We all have a story to tell, and it’s His story. Sophie is a loving wife, mother, and nurse. She has spent time volunteering with children’s ministries, non-profit group homes, and youth retreats.
